Jamaican Blue Mountain® Coffee Liquor
Ingredients and Amounts
5 cups of water
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1/4 lb of ground Jamaican Blue Mountain® Coffee
2 cups of your favorite rum
Instructions
Place the 1/4 lb of ground Jamaican Blue Mountain® Coffee into and bowl and pour the 2 cups of rum over it
Cover and leave at room temperature for 3 days
Place sugar and water into a saucepan and heat over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture begins to thicken into syrup
Remove from heat and cool
Strain the coffee rum mixture that has been sitting for 3 days, to remove coffee granules
Add the sugar syrup
Bottle and leave to age for at least 2 months
Makes approximately 2 pints or 1 liter of Jamaican Blue Mountain® Coffee Liquor
